A clearing agent needs to belong to a regulatory body being the South African Association of Freight Forwarders (SAAFF) in order to operate in the industry.
In addition to this a clearing agent needs to have a SARS license to operate.
In our case we also have a “Remover of goods in bond” license from SARS.
ICL also prides itself on being amongst the first in the Eastern Cape of having attained ISO 9001:2015 status in 2017. “we say what we do what we say” is a motto that we subscribe to.
In addition to the above ICL is also accredited as a BEE level 2 accredited with a Procurement Recognition level of 125%.
